G20-Groups plead for open societies

The alliance of G20 Engagement Groups published a statement ahead of the meeting of the G20 Foreign Ministers in Germany to support open societies and international cooperation.

They called upon the G20 to work towards an open international trading system promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth and development. The Kiel Institute for the World Economy, currently Co-Chair of the Think20 Group, is among the signatories.
