Julia Pomares is the Executive Director of CIPPEC, the largest think tank in Argentina. She received her university degree in Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires. Afterward, she received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the London School of Economics and holds a Masters in Comparative Politics and in Research Methods from the same university.
She is a specialist in public policy research and project monitoring and evaluation, she worked for international organizations and think tanks, including the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the Organization of American States (OAS), among others.
She was adviser to the Minister of the Interior during the government of the Alliance, coordinator of the test pilot of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in 2005, Policy Adviser to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and she was in charge of the Monitoring and Evaluation of Decentralization process in Guatemala.E-Mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
