Nozibele Gcora
Nozibele Gcora is a PHD Candidate at the HSRC BRICS Research Centre who specialise in Information Systems, Product Software Management, Software Architecture, Knowledge Management and Advanced Research Methods. Nozibele was part of a Master’s Exchange Programme in Information and Computing Sciences with Utrecht University, Netherlands which completed in January 2016. She completed her Masters at Fort Hare University in 2015 in Information Systems. Prior to joining the HSRC, Nozibele worked as a temporary lecturer and Tutor at the University of Fort Hare in 2014 and 2015.
Nozibele’s current work at the HSRC focuses on Economic modeling for the provision of Affordable Housing in the BRICS. In addition, she works on the BRICS Data Warehouse project and is involved in research pertaining to narrowing the digital divide impacting South African’s economy. Her PHD Research focusses on the usage of Ecommerce for small scale farmers in the Eastern Cape.
