Patrick Kilby

Australian National University – Kilby is a Senior Lecturer and convener of the Master of Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development Program at the Australian National University, and the Editor in Chief of the journal Development in Practice. His research interests are: NGOs; gender and development; and the history of foreign aid. He has published five monographs: dealing with women’s empowerment in India; NGOs; philanthropic foundations, China and the US as aid donors, and the Green Revolution.
