Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering

The Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, promoting the development and adoption of existing and new technologies that will improve and sustain our society and economy. ATSE was founded in 1976 to recognise and promote the outstanding achievement of Australian technologists, scientists and engineers and to provide evidence based policy advice to Government.

ATSE’s membership represents 800 of the leading technologists, applied scientists and engineers in Australia and a small number of Foreign Fellows. The Academy provides a national forum for discussion and debate of critical issues about Australia’s future, especially the positive impact of technology sciences and engineering on our quality of life. ATSE seeks to promote Australian technological innovation nationally and globally to boost the productivity and competitiveness of Australian industry and business.
