Founded in Brussels in 1983, CEPS is a leading think tank and forum for debate on EU affairs, with an exceptionally strong in-house research capacity and an extensive network of partner institutes throughout the world. Situated in the nexus between academia, business and the public sector, CEPS performs policy evaluations and impact assessment on wide range of policy areas. It strives to bring new knowledge to the attention of decision-makers and to offer fresh insights into important public policy issues. CEPS has acquired a solid reputation for integrity and excellence in research. CEPS is actively involved in research and consultancy work in a variety of fields and themes of interest for the EU, from Energy and Climate Policy to Foreign Policy and Security, or Economy and Finance.
